Bonanza Antlers Girls Soccer 0-4 Sutherlin

Sutherlin handed the Bonanza High School girls soccer team a 4-0 defeat on Thursday evening, as the Farmers traveled to Sutherlin for an East Cascades Conference (2A) road matchup. The result drops Bonanza, out of Bonanza, Oregon, to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in league play at the midpoint of the fall season.

The Farmers found the going tough against Sutherlin on the road, as the host side controlled the match and found the net four times while keeping Bonanza off the board. Without a detailed box score available, the final margin tells the story of a night when things simply did not fall the Farmers' way.

Sitting at the .500 mark in conference play with three league games remaining, Bonanza still has a genuine shot at strengthening its postseason positioning. The Farmers will need a strong response when they return to action next week, looking to build on the positive moments of a competitive fall campaign.
