Bonanza Antlers Girls Soccer 1-1 Siuslaw

A late share of the points was the result Thursday as Bonanza girls soccer played Siuslaw to a 1-1 tie in 3A/2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 league action at home in Bonanza, Oregon. Neither side could find a winning goal, leaving both teams to split the points on a cool fall evening. The Bonanza goal was the difference between a tough loss and a hard-earned draw, and it keeps the Hawks in the conversation as the league schedule winds down. With the result, Bonanza moves to 5-9-1 overall and 3-6 in conference play. The tie adds a measure of momentum heading into the final stretch of the season, as the Hawks have shown they can stay level with Siuslaw, a program making the trip over from the coast. Bonanza will look to build on this result in their remaining league matches, with playoff positioning still in play for the program.
