Mazama Vikings Boys Soccer 8-0 North Valley

Mazama's boys soccer team dominated from the opening whistle Thursday night, shutting out North Valley 8-0 in a 4A-5 Skyline Conference match played in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The lopsided result pushed the Vikings to 8-2-2 overall and 4-2 in league play, keeping them in the thick of the conference standings with the postseason approaching. Eight goals against a single opponent speaks to a complete performance on both ends of the pitch. Mazama's attack found openings consistently throughout the match while the defense held North Valley without a shot on goal, earning the clean sheet. The Vikings entered Thursday at 7-2-2 and needed a strong showing to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. That is exactly what they delivered. With league play winding down, Mazama will look to carry this energy into upcoming matches and lock up a favorable postseason position. Next up, the Vikings return to action looking to extend the winning run.
