Mazama Vikings Boys Soccer 5-1 Hidden Valley

Five goals on home soil told the story Thursday night, as the Mazama Vikings rolled to a 5-1 boys soccer victory over Hidden Valley in Klamath Falls, Oregon, improving their standing in the Intermountain Conference (5A). The convincing win moved Mazama to 7-2-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play, a result that keeps the Vikings firmly in the hunt for a postseason berth as the regular season winds toward its final weeks. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Vikings controlled the match throughout, building a multi-goal cushion and never allowing Hidden Valley to threaten seriously after the early going. The lopsided margin reflects a team that is finding its stride at exactly the right moment on the calendar. With conference standings tightening across the Intermountain, every league point carries added weight. Mazama will look to carry this momentum into their next contest and continue pressing toward the top of the standings.
