Mazama Vikings Boys Soccer 3-4 Henley

Henley handed Mazama a 4-3 defeat in Intermountain Conference (5A) boys soccer on Tuesday, dealing the Klamath Falls, Oregon program its second league loss of the fall. Playing on the road against the Henley Mustangs, Mazama showed enough offensive life to put three goals on the board, but the Vikings could not hold off a Henley side that edged ahead for good to take the win. The result drops Mazama to 6-2-1 overall and 2-2 in conference play, a standings position that makes every remaining league match feel urgent. After entering the night at 6-1-1, the Vikings had built genuine momentum heading into the week, and the offense continues to show it can compete with quality opponents. Tightening up defensively will be the key focus heading forward. Mazama will look to bounce back quickly and get back on the right side of the conference ledger in their next outing.
