Henley Hornets Baseball 1-3 Tillamook

Tillamook defeated Henley 3-1 in a non-league baseball contest Monday at Henley High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The loss drops the Skyline Conference (4A) Hornets to 23-4 overall while maintaining their strong 11-1 conference mark.
The visiting Cheesemakers managed to solve Henley pitching for three runs while limiting the typically explosive Hornets offense to just one run. Henley, which entered the game with an impressive 23-3 record, struggled to generate consistent offensive pressure against Tillamook's pitching staff.
Despite the setback, the Hornets remain in excellent position within conference play. Their 11-1 Skyline Conference record reflects their dominance in league competition this spring, making this non-league loss less damaging to their postseason positioning.
The defeat serves as a reminder that even successful teams face challenges when stepping outside familiar conference competition. Henley will look to bounce back and continue their strong conference play as the spring season moves toward its conclusion and playoff positioning becomes finalized.
