Lost River Raiders Girls Volleyball 2-1 Klamath Union

Lost River's girls volleyball team picked up its first win of the season Saturday, defeating Klamath Union two sets to one in a non-league matchup at home in Merrill, Oregon. The Dragons, who compete in the East Cascades Conference (2A), moved to 1-2 on the year after dropping their first two matches to open the fall. Klamath Union pushed the Dragons the distance, forcing a deciding third set before Lost River closed it out. The victory was a meaningful confidence boost for a young program still finding its footing through the early weeks of the schedule. Earning a hard-fought three-set result against a county rival carries weight, particularly for a squad that had yet to register a win heading into Saturday. The Dragons will look to build on this momentum as they continue their non-league slate before conference play intensifies.
