Lakeview Honkers Girls Soccer 2-0 Klamath Union [JV]

A clean sheet and two goals on the road gave Lakeview girls soccer a 2-0 victory over Klamath Union JV on Tuesday in Klamath Falls. The Honkers, representing Lakeview, Oregon, and the Southern Cascade League (2A), picked up a non-league road win that pushes their overall record to 5-2-2 on the season. Lakeview's defense was the story of the afternoon, holding the Pelicans' junior varsity squad scoreless through the full match. The offense did just enough, finding the back of the net twice to secure the comfortable margin. While the result came against a JV opponent and will not affect the conference standings directly, the confidence and momentum gained on the road carry real value heading into the stretch run of the regular season. Lakeview now sits at 3-2 in Southern Cascade League play, with postseason positioning still very much in reach. The Honkers will look to build on this performance when they return to action later in the week.
