Henley Hornets Girls Soccer 1-0 Phoenix

A single goal was all Henley needed Tuesday, as the Henley girls soccer team traveled to Phoenix and came away with a 1-0 victory to remain undefeated on the season. The Hornets, based in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and competing in the 4A-5 Skyline Conference, continued one of the most impressive runs in the region this fall with the hard-fought road result. The win moves Henley to 10-0-2 overall and a perfect 8-0 in conference play, keeping the Hornets firmly in control of the Skyline standings as the season nears its close. Road wins are rarely easy, and a shutout against Phoenix speaks to the defensive resolve this group has shown all year. With the regular season winding down, Henley will look to carry that momentum into its remaining matches and protect what has been a remarkable unbeaten run. The Hornets are a team worth watching as postseason play approaches.
