Henley Hornets Girls Soccer 1-0 Phoenix

One goal was all the Henley girls soccer team needed Thursday night, as the Hornets held off Phoenix 1-0 in a Skyline Conference (4A) home match in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The shutout victory keeps Henley unbeaten on the season and solidifies the team's standing near the top of the conference standings. With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-0-2 overall and 3-0 in league play, a strong position as the schedule moves deeper into the fall. Defending a narrow lead requires discipline and focus, and Henley's backline delivered both, keeping Phoenix off the board for the full 80 minutes. The clean sheet speaks to a defense that has been a consistent strength throughout the season. Henley will look to carry that momentum into its next matchup, with conference games taking on added weight as postseason positioning begins to take shape in the weeks ahead.
