Mazama Vikings Girls Soccer 0-6 Henley

Henley handed Mazama a tough 6-0 defeat Tuesday in Intermountain Conference (5A) girls soccer, dropping the Vikings to 4-5 on the season at their home pitch in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Hornets controlled the match from start to finish, finding the net six times while keeping Mazama off the scoreboard entirely in a result that stings for a Vikings squad still searching for consistency in league play. With the loss, Mazama now sits at 2-3 in conference play, making each remaining league game a meaningful one as the postseason picture begins to take shape. The Vikings showed fight earlier this season, building a respectable 4-4 record before tonight, and will need to draw on that resilience quickly. Mazama will look to bounce back and tighten its defense as the team works to stay in the conference playoff conversation. The schedule ahead offers chances to recover, and the Vikings will be eager to respond.
