Chiloquin Panthers Girls Volleyball 0-3 North Lake

North Lake handed Chiloquin a 3-0 defeat in girls volleyball Monday, sending the Mountain Valley League (1A) program from Chiloquin, Oregon into the 2026 fall season with an 0-1 record after a road trip to face the home side. The three-set sweep gave North Lake a clean result in this non-league matchup, with Chiloquin unable to find the footing needed to extend any set and keep the match competitive.
Opening week road matches against unfamiliar opponents are never easy, and the Eagles got their first look at live varsity competition under game conditions. There is plenty of value in facing that kind of challenge early, as it quickly reveals what areas need attention before league play begins.
Chiloquin returns home to prepare for the next stretch of non-league action, where the lessons from Monday's match can be put to work. The early schedule is a building block, and the coaching staff will look to sharpen the squad before Mountain Valley League competition gets underway.
