Chiloquin Panthers Football 56-26 Bonanza

Chiloquin's football team turned a road trip into a statement Friday night, pulling away from Bonanza for a 56-26 Mountain Valley League (1A) victory in Bonanza, Oregon. The win pushes the Chiloquin, Oregon, program to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in league play, a strong bounce-back after entering the night at .500. The final margin tells the story clearly. The Hawks generated consistent offense throughout the game, building a lead that Bonanza was never able to seriously threaten in the second half. Giving up 26 points shows some defensive work to clean up, but scoring 56 demonstrates a potent attack that can put games away. At the halfway point of league play, Chiloquin now holds a winning conference record and has real momentum heading into the stretch run. The Hawks will look to build on this performance next week as league standings tighten and playoff positioning becomes the central focus of every remaining Friday night.
