Bonanza Antlers Girls Volleyball 3-2 Lakeview

Bonanza's volleyball team picked up a hard-fought road victory Thursday night, defeating Lakeview 3-2 in a five-set non-league match played in Lakeview, Oregon. The Bonanza girls, who compete in the 2A-8 East Cascades Conference out of Bonanza, Oregon, had to grind through a full five sets to secure the result against the Honkers in what proved to be a competitive evening of volleyball from start to finish. The win moves Bonanza to 5-14 on the season, a meaningful addition to the win column for a squad that came in at 4-14 and needed a performance to build on. Taking a five-set match on the road against any opponent requires resolve and composure, and the Cats showed both Thursday. As a non-league contest, the result does not affect conference standings, but the confidence gained from winning a close road match carries real value heading into the remainder of the fall schedule.
