The Bonanza Antlers faced a challenging road test Thursday afternoon, falling to Glendale 18-1 in league softball action. The visiting Antlers managed to put one run across against a potent Glendale offense that capitalized on multiple scoring opportunities throughout the contest.

Bonanza found themselves in an uphill battle early as Glendale's bats came alive, building a commanding lead that proved insurmountable. Despite the lopsided score, the Antlers continued to compete and managed to prevent a shutout with their lone tally.

The loss moves Bonanza to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play as they navigate the early portion of their league schedule. While the results haven't gone their way yet, the Antlers are gaining valuable experience against quality competition that should serve them well as the season progresses.

Bonanza will look to regroup and refocus as they return home for their next outing. The Antlers have shown flashes of potential this spring and will aim to put together a more complete performance in their upcoming games.
