The Bonanza baseball team faced a difficult Friday afternoon at Illinois Valley, falling 19-0 in league action. The Antelope struggled to generate offense against the Cavemen's pitching staff while Illinois Valley built a commanding lead early in the contest.

Bonanza entered the road matchup looking to break through in conference play but was unable to solve Illinois Valley's approach on the mound. The Cavemen took advantage of their scoring opportunities throughout the game, pulling away for the decisive victory.

The loss drops Bonanza to 1-13 overall and 0-10 in conference standings as the spring season continues. Despite the challenging result, the Antelope have shown moments of promise this year and will look to regroup as they prepare for their remaining league games.

Bonanza will have an opportunity to bounce back in their next outing as they work to finish the season on a positive note. The team continues to develop and gain valuable experience that will serve them well moving forward.
